Racing Sim- actuators are all turned around

I just bought a used racing set (4 actuator, 2 ACM), and spent an hour attaching it to the frame.

I followed the little pictures to make sure front/back and left/right were all correct.

Well- they aren’t. I guess I’ll spend another hour moving everything around tomorrow… but I’d rather just have them match the pictures- and also stay installed the “right” way.

Is there anything to be done?

Hey Matt!

I’m sorry you are experiencing difficulties with the installation fo your setup, we try to make installation as easy as possible so any feedback is always appreciated. May I ask what generation of our systems do you have?

Matt,
If you bought a used system the previous owner may have had a special situation and had them altered to suit his needs. The picture stickers are difficult to remove and he may not have bothered.
In the D-Box drop down menu there is a program called “stimuli”. While laying on the floor you can test front, back, left and right before ever mounting them to be sure.

They’re 1.5" actuators- that look just like my HT actuators. I’m not sure what generation that is.

I already switched them around- so the urgency in my question is gone…

Great to hear you have it sorted. Home theater are normally 2 left and 2 right given a sofa requires and gameing kits of 4250 are 2 front and 2 rear so that in itself may be your answer. Do enjoy both.

One ACM was marked front, and it was the back. The other was marked back, and it was the front. One ACM had the left/right actuators marked correctly, and the other one was reversed. /shrug

Hope you’ve made it work now Matt.
